What temperature should I use with my Volcano while using my Lava Filter?
The Caldera, Vesuvius, and Zimina are the top Volcano attachments suitable for any temperature you typically use with your Volcano. We suggest starting at a temperature below 325°F and gradually increasing it during your session. It's best to avoid temperatures above 400°F, as certain herbs and essential oils can release harmful vapors when heated too high for too long.
Can water get into my Volcano when using my Lava Filter?
No, the Vesuvius has an additional water trap (which is not found on Caldera devices) that captures any accidental spills. This design helps keep moisture or liquid from mixing with your herbs or essential oils, even in the unlikely event of overfilling or accidents.
As long as you follow all safety instructions and recommendations (which can be found on the packaging for both Caldera and Vesuvius), water should not enter your Volcano. Make sure not to overfill your bag and avoid squeezing it while it’s connected to the Caldera. Additionally, do not overfill the Caldera itself.
