Packages are generally dispatched within 1-2 days after receipt of payment and are shipped via USPS with tracking and drop-off without signature. If you prefer delivery by USPS with the required signature, an additional cost will be applied, so please contact us before choosing this method. Whichever shipment choice you make, we will provide you with a link to track your package online.
Delivery times are estimates provided by USPS and are not guaranteed by Lava Filters. Orders placed before 12 PM PST will be shipped within one day. All devices (Caldera, Vesuvius, Zimina) will ship the same day if ordered by 12 PM Pacific Standard Time, typically using USPS First Class Package Service, unless stated otherwise. In some cases, packages may be sent via UPS, FedEx, or DHL, even if USPS was initially selected. If this happens, your USPS tracking number will not be valid on USPS.com. We may use other carriers to ensure faster delivery. Please use the tracking number for UPS, FedEx, or DHL to check your shipment status, and only inquire through USPS.com if you have the correct USPS tracking number. Claims for lost packages can be made only after 15 days of no tracking movement and must be submitted within 45 days of inactivity.
RETURNS
As part of Lava Filters' lifetime quality assurance guarantee, we ensure that all our percolation devices will arrive in a condition that allows them to function properly for the life of your Volcano. Since each unit is hand-assembled, there may be slight aesthetic variations between similar devices, but these will not impact their performance or the quality of vapor produced. Returns will only be accepted for devices that are unused and fall into one of the following categories: 1. Defective, 2. Damaged, or 3. Incorrectly delivered. To initiate a return, please contact us. We will assess the device based on the criteria mentioned above. Once approved, a full refund or replacement will be issued. Please allow 2-3 days for your payment method to process the transaction.

Lava Filters will comply with all laws and regulations of the State of California and federal laws of the United States. We are not liable for any import duties, customs fees, or tariffs imposed by foreign governments at the time of purchase. It is the buyer's responsibility to understand their local import laws and cover any associated fees. Lava Filters is not responsible for shipping delays caused by inspections or confiscations by customs or import authorities at the destination. We will assist customers in providing necessary information to ensure legal and timely delivery of packages that face scrutiny. Claims for lost packages can only be filed after 21 days of no tracking movement and must be submitted within 50 days of inactivity.
